What is Angelus Finisher?

Angelus Finisher is the last step in painting certain types of leather! The finisher is the last layer that is applied on the leather paint coat. The finisher fluid creates a matte, glossy or satin finish and brings the project together. The Finisher can also act as a protective coat to help shield the paint from scratches. There are a lot of different finishes available! In general, a finish is quite glossy. If you wish to dull the finish, add a little bit of duller to the angelus finisher. The different gloss types are the “normal finisher” (Angelus Acrylic), the Satin Finisher, Satin High Gloss, High Gloss and Matte. Choose the finish you want and create a brand-new look for your leather!

How to use Angelus Finisher

Angelus Finisher is the last step in the leather painting process, adding a “factory finish” to make your leather look brand new! We will describe the most important things when applying finisher to ensure the best results.

  1. Is your leather paint coat dry? Make sure this step is complete as it is very important. You can let your shoes dry normally for 20 minutes.
  2. Apply the finisher on your painted leather. You can either use an airbrush or a paint brush, whatever holds your preference. The Angelus Finisher is thin enough to pass through an airbrush without thinning the finisher even further. When only applying the finisher to a small part of the shoe, the paint brush is recommended. Find all your utensils here
  3. Apply a coat to the leather paint and let it dry!
